Logan Square is a trendy neighborhood northwest of the loop in Chicago. The heart of the area is the Logan Square Monument at the intersection of 2 main boulevards. The area has gone through rapid changes over the last decade and the goal of this branding was to connect the local history with the new energy in the neighborhood.
The rough hand sketches studied various forms and layouts for the badge. The eagle that sits on the top of the neighborhood monument was the centerpiece for this design.
